Situated just 135km from Durban on the North coast of KwaZulu-Natal, our comfortable homely cottage has everything you need for an amazing getaway, whether you are travelling with family, on a couples retreat or traveling for business.
Mtunzini has a number of shops and restaurants in town for your basic culinary needs, and many other exciting activities for you and your family to enjoy, including; its own nature reserve, magnificent lagoon, breathtaking dunes and endless, clean beaches, all at the doorstep of the cottage.
Nkawu Cottage is decorated with a professional touch as Isabelle is a paint technique specialist.
Attention to detail is what you can expect from this fully furnished, self catering cottage.Its privacy and quiet surroundings makes it the perfect place to unwind and relax while spotting a wide variety of birds and the naughty Vervet monkeys playing around. Everything is included in our accommodation for your comfort and to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one!
The cottage has:
A battery inverter system, which provides electricity during load shedding.
Three air-conditioned, separate bedrooms.
One with a king size bed, one with two single beds,
a bathroom with basin and shower, separate toilet.
Third room with queen size bed, en suite shower, basin and toilet (pls note, this room has its own entrance).
All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
